There is a good choice of accommodation to suit almost all tastes near to Forres and Grantown-on-Spey, the towns at the ends of the Dava Way. At present the only accommodation we know of along the route itself is at or near Dunphail. There is a self catering cottage at Bantrack about 10 miles from Forres centre, 14 miles from Grantown. Look under Forres Self Catering. At Dunphail the Edinkillie Community Hall can be hired as simple 'village hall' accommodation. It has a very basic kitchen, two halls, washroom/toilet facilities but there are no showers. When hiring this village hall, users are reminded that there are no beds and must bring their own sleeping mats and sleeping bags. To hire the hall contact the secretary on 01309 611297.
